On your computer

The app stores your fights, your reports, your PvP log and the players you meet in game (names, classes, servers, legions) only on your computer. This data is never sent to us.

The app reads official character sheets from your computer, on NCSoft’s website, and publishes on Discord only what you choose, through the link (webhook) you set up. You can erase everything from the app; fight details are trimmed automatically after 60 days.

When the app reads an official sheet, NCSoft’s website receives your IP address, as with any visit; messages posted on Discord fall under Discord’s rules.

What we receive

To run your licence, our service records:

• the email address of your purchase, sent by Paddle, and the language of your purchase;
• your key, as a fingerprint and an encrypted copy, your plan, the dates and status of your subscription;
• for each activated computer: its name, an anonymous fingerprint of the machine, a security key created by the app and the date of the last check;
• your IP address and the app version, sent as with any connection during licence checks and update checks: we only keep a fingerprint of the IP address, for 2 days, to limit abuse.

We receive no game data.

Why

• Provide and check your licence, send you your key and answer you (performance of the contract, GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
• Offer you app updates (legitimate interest, GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
• Prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest, GDPR article 6(1)(f)).

We never sell, rent or trade your data.

Payment

Paddle processes your payment as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy (paddle.com/legal/privacy). We never see your bank details.

Service providers

• Cloudflare (hosting of the website and service, United States).
• Resend (sending of emails, United States).

These transfers outside the European Union are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Your licence data is kept as long as your licence exists, then 3 years after it ends (proof and support), unless you ask for it to be erased sooner. IP address fingerprints are deleted after 2 days. Cloudflare’s technical logs follow its own policy.

Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS). Licence keys are never stored in clear: only a fingerprint and an encrypted copy. Irreversible machine fingerprint: your computer’s identifier never leaves it. Administration restricted to the publisher.

Cookies

This website only uses one preference cookie (the chosen theme), with no analytics or advertising. The purchase page loads Paddle’s payment module, which sets the cookies needed for the payment.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to its processing: write to contact@abysspulse.com. You can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local data protection authority. We reply within one month.

You can ask for the complete deletion of your licence and the related data: it is done within 30 days, and an ongoing subscription is then cancelled.

Minors

AbyssPulse is not intended for children under 15. If you believe we hold data about a child under 15, write to us: we will delete it.

Changes

This policy may change: the date at the top of the page shows its version. A significant change is announced in the app or by email.
